Personal Statement

    I'm a student enrolled in a high demanding Magnet program located in Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High called iPrep. I have been taking AP courses since freshman year and are planning to continue this path by taking both Dual Enrollment and AP courses for my junior and senior year.  In my last two years, I will be taking DE Intro to Lit, DE ENC 1101/2, DE US History,  AP Calculus (AB, BC), AP Chemistry, and many others. I have been able to balance this pretty well with football.

    I play for the HML Trojans and specialize as an OG but have experience in several positions. Other positions I've played or practiced at are OT and C, but I've wanted to try TE or FB/RB. My first two years have been full of hardships, having losing seasons in my first two years, but that hasn't deterred me from my mission. My second season was a major improvement from the first, but there is still much to learn going into my third year with the team. 

    I'm the type of person to figure out a goal and try my hardest to achieve it. The goal for my last two years on the team is to bring home a championship after 44 years since our undefeated season and state championship win in 1975. I will continue to push past my limits and out of my comfort zone, especially if I know my coaches and teammates got my back. I believe having a coaching staff and team on my side is the most important thing needed to succeed.
