Personal Statement

My name is Kolbie Erickson and I am a a 6'1 245lb Defensive and Offensive Lineman. My passion for football started when I was in the sixth grade, I was raised in a football-loving home, and I started to play as soon as I was able. During the course of my Sophomore year, I played in every game, lead my team to a couple game winning drives, and my team went on to break the high school record of being undefeated in the regular season. I strongly feel that my Junior year was a major turning point in my football career, as I finally started to understand the game and was able to work toward becoming the best I can be, for myself and my team. I put in work during the off-season, and it really showed in my game play, mentally and physically, that coming season. Overall, I feel as though I am a leader on and off the field and I can impact any program I am put into in a positive way. My ultimate goal throughout my senior year, as well as my college career is to become a better student, athlete, and the best person I can be.
