Personal Statement
Before the start of freshman year, I moved from Peoria, Arizona to Brentwood, Tennessee. I found it awe-striking how vastly different football is between the two locations. I soon realized how much harder I'd have to work to see the field in the "Deep South," where football reigns king over any other sport. The program my school (Ravenwood High) has is also a very well-known powerhouse for football. Sophomore year, our team got to the quarter-finals, and the next year we made it to the semi-finals. I'm very proud to be a part of such a successful program.
Throughout high school, I have been moved around position groups quite a lot. Freshman year, I played as a defensive end, as a sophomore I was a tight end, and in junior year I played as a tight end and a wide receiver. In this current off-season of junior year, I have been working extremely hard to earn my spot on the field during the season. Between a personal position coach, football off-season lifting, and rugby, I have been pushing to become the best that I can be. I'm very extroverted, and I try to keep myself cool and collected as much as I can. It would be hard to find a team that I wouldn't get along with.
