Personal Statement

We are our choices and I am dedicated to building my great story.  I aspire to be a valuable member of a competitive collegiate football and baseball team, and to do so, I have been committed for many years to smart training, including speed, agility, strength, quarterback, hitting, pitching and outfield specific training.  I make a good candidate for a team because I am intelligent, as evidenced by my International Baccalaureate Honors Program and Dean's List, and I am focused on athleticism, that is, on being a well-rounded, strong athletic player with leadership skills.  I understand that prior performance is an indicator of future performance, and that my objective is to add value to a high-level educational institution and its sports programs as well its team members.  I am different than many other players because I am an IB Honors Program student, a member of the Advanced Orchestra for viola, a QB,  an outfielder, a pitcher, and an overall student-athlete.  I am a member of the Gulliver Academy baseball team that won the 2018 South Florida Middle School Conference.  I have also participated in state-recognized football camps and combines, and continue to participate in them because I am interested in benchmarking and getting better.  I hope to study sports medicine and consider collegiate coaching in the future.  I seek admission to Ivy League and other selective universities with highly valued academic and athletic programs.  I seek a Coach that wants to take me "under his wings" so we can skyrocket!  One university will be a part of my great story.
