Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Elle Louise Kocmond. I have played for Charlotte Ambush Field Hockey Club since I was 7. I go to Providence Day School (Class of 2024). My mom inspired me to play field hockey. She was a goalkeeper at Brown, she even made it to tryouts for the National Team. My mom also coaches high school field hockey. I want to play at a college that will challenge me on and off the field. I don't know who I am without field hockey, but I know it has made me more confident all around. In school, I enjoy math and playing lacrosse in the spring. I'm looking forward to finding the right place to play in college and teammates to create bonds with for a lifetime.
