Personal Statement

I have played football since I was eight years old. From the time I started playing, it has been a dream of mine to play at the college level. Every coach I have ever played for has recognized me above my peers for my "coachability" and versatility on the field. It is my true belief that there is no "I" in team, and my teammates would all agree that I am consistent in trying to be a leader on the field and off, always striving to be a positive influence on my peers and wanting better for my team and myself. Playing football has taught me adaptability and perseverance, and continuing my career through college would be a dream come true. 

I train hard and pursue any opportunities in my reach to hone my skills and better my game. I pride myself on being a player that rises to any challenge that a coach or trainer gives me. For the 2018 season,  I was given the Coach's Award for excellence in the classroom as well as on the field and was named All-Conference Running Back by the coaches in my conference. 

In the classroom, I maintain a high GPA in order to ensure that when the time comes, I can be accepted to a college where I can pursue studies that will keep me on the field or working with athletes for years to come. Football is my passion, and I hope to represent the right college one day.
