Personal Statement

My parents put me in youth football when I was nine years old. They said I was always tough and strong and it was the sport for me. I've played baseball and basketball as well but my favorite was always football. My first year playing earned me the title of rookie of the year playing nose guard. In my junior year of HS I earned second team All-league award and lettered in football.  I have earned MVP awards the past two years for linebacker at Offense-Defensive camps where I was invited to play in their All American football game.  Recently there was an article listing the 2019 top 50 players in Kern County and my name made that list. This is my senior year and as captain of defense it is my goal to lead our team with positive team spirit. I am very passionate about the game and am very hopeful that I can take that passion on to the next level in college ball.
