Personal Statement

My name is Christian Griego. I am heading into my senior year and will be graduating in May 2021 from Los Lunas High School in Los Lunas, New Mexico.  I am an Offensive Lineman (OL) and three year Varsity letterman at Los Lunas High School.  I am interested in  pursuing my college degree in an Athletic Training Program or Physical Therapy.  I take pride in my education and I am a respectful, hardworking student. I have a 3.9 cumulative GPA and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am scheduled to take the ACT in July 2020, as the date for April was rescheduled due to health concerns with COVID 19.

On the field, I helped my team reach the State Championship in 2018 and 2019. Although we fell short, it was an amazing learning experience.  I am anxious to get back on the field, and be a leader for our team and be back in the State Championship in 2020. I was nominated and voted on by the surrounding Metro area coaches to receive 1stTeam All-Metro Offensive Line, I also received 1stTeam All-District Offensive Line and All-District Academics in 2019.  As a player I believe in hard work and dedicating myself to my team and working hard to get the job done! I am respectful, loyal and determined to be the best person I can be on and off the field.
