Now, Usma-Harper’s cover has been blown. He racked up 301 yards rushing on Friday in Carmel’s 35-34 loss to Libertyville in Mundelein.
It was not a one-sided affair early. The game went to the second quarter tied a t a touchdown each.
By this time, the Shamrocks were getting battered by the rushing effort of sophomore Syone Usma-Harper (18 carries, 149 yards). Harper scored 2 touchdowns
The forecast seemed gloomy for the Carmel football team back in Week 5 when top running back and playmaker Sean Lynch went down.
The senior suffered a lower body injury, left the game and was eventually ruled out for the rest of the season.

I love football, and if I can use the passion to play football and further my education beyond high school, it will be a great accomplishment in my life.
