Personal Statement
As a 4-Star Recruit I know I am able to play at any level and provide leadership to any program. My name is Blaine Riley and I am a 18 yo, 6'0", 225 lb. Varsity at Linebacker & Punter at Canal Winchester High School in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Currently I bench 340 lbs and squat 500 lbs. In 2018 at 200 lbs. I ran a 4.56 40-yd dash at Ohio State Linebacker Camp. In 2019 at 210 lbs. I ran a 4.66 at Penn State's camp. Currently I weigh 225 and still run a 4.69. Ultimately, playing college football is a dream I have had since I was young. My junior year I ended with a 4.0 GPA and have a 3.8 Cumulative. In school and will continue to inspire for excellence both on and off the field.
My goals are to continue to add mass and get faster in the off-season. As a team leader I continue to work with my fellow teammates to create a positive environment for success. I want to instill loyalty, dedication, perseverance and diligence in each player I come in contact with. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find balance between the class and the field. I would like to look at all opportunities to play at the next level. I am open to different types of schools but ultimately want to play at the highest level possible. My goal is to play ball. I would like an environment in which I could learn from others and make an impact as soon as my time comes. I will absolutely look through all opportunities even though higher echelon schools are preferred.
Sincerely,
Blaine Riley
