Personal Statement

My name is Ben Frick, I am an athlete at Basha High School, class of 2022. My major sport is football for which I play Running Back and Outside Line Backer. I am 5’9, 185 lbs.

During my freshman and sophomore season I was the Captain for the JV Team. Although I have played tackle football since I was 10, my Freshman year is when I really honed my ability as Running and Fullback. Often, I am substituted in as Outside Linebacker because of my strength and athletic endurance. Playing College football has been a dream of mine since falling in love with the sport when I was young.

Off season, I compete in track to maintain my performance. I run the 100M, 200M, and the 4X1. I am in the top of my class for strength and speed. At Basha, those who attain a certain competitive level are awarded a Kodiak designation. This is a level only a few have ever attained.

Many will say that my best attributes are my work ethic, commitment, coachability, strength, and leadership on and off the field.
