Personal Statement

My name is Rodger Sims Jr I am 17 years old. I started wrestling in South Carolina in 8th grade. That year I went to states though I didn't place, I decided to continue wrestling into high school. My Freshman year wrestling season, unfortunately, was cut short due to a shoulder injury. My Sophmore I moved to North Carolina and wrestled on the JV team. This year I have wrestled Varsity but unfortunately, my individual season was cut short at regionals. I will continue to wrestle and plan on becoming an Olympic freestyle and folkstyle wrestler.
