Personal Statement

My name is Jaiden Mayerschoff and I am a 6'3" 210 lb. safety and wide receiver I am a senior and am looking to continue playing football in college. As a freshman, I played my first three games on JV and then got moved up to varsity, although there were some upperclassmen already occupying my positions. I didn't get much playing time on offense but I got a substantial amount of time at linebacker and played almost every snap on special teams. Playing varsity as a freshman was a great experience and really helped me prepare for what high school football is going to be like. I first became interested in football when one of my close friends in third grade started playing. I didn't really enjoy my first season, as I was put in a position that was definitely not a fit for me. But after my second season, I knew that football is what I loved. Through football I've learned a lot about myself. I've learned that I love being within a team setting and I love working together with people that share the same goals as me.
