Personal Statement

My name is Ethan Coleman and I play QB for the West Linn Lions and I will be graduating in 2020. My intended major is Computer Science and I am looking for a school which offers this major as part of their curriculum. I am an honor roll student and will graduate with at least a 3.8 accumulative GPA or better. I am a team leader and focused on making my teammates better by taking care of the ball and distributing it accurately to our playmakers. I'm not big into yelling and I lead by example in everything I do. I am the first one to arrive at practice each day so that I'm ready to go and prepared to get better. As a QB I have short term memory so that if I make a mistake it's not something I dwell on. Football is fast and I prefer to focus on moving forward and ultimately playing better and executing our offense to the best of my ability. In addition to preparing for the 2018 football season this summer, I was lucky enough to land an internship at Intel where I worked in the Tools Development Division writing code to help make our storage systems operate more efficiently. My ideal college coach and program is one which allows me to ball out on the field and in the class room.
