Personal Statement
As a freshman, I believed focusing on one sport was important. As I progressed through high school, I wanted to compete in more than just one season and realized participating in additional sports made me a more well rounded athlete. My experiences of playing varsity football as a sophomore, being a soccer team captain, competing in track and field events, and keeping up to my standards academically all fueled my competitive spirit and drive to not be "average".
I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership through 3 different sports. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, drive to succeed, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a three-sport athlete and team captain, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
"Jackson is a very talented high school kicking prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a powerful leg. He shows he can hit a D1 level college ball off the ground on field goal. His "A" ball is ready right now. His kickoffs are strong. He drives the ball 60+ yards with solid hang time. As he continues to work on his technique and consistency, he will shoot even further up the rankings. He is well on his way. Jackson is a fine young man that is always a great pleasure to work with. One of the hardest workers out there. This should be a big 2019 off season for Jackson. He should dominate Vegas XXXIV in May. One to keep a close eye on. Strong prospect." - Chris Sailer
