Personal Statement
My early life was spent in Massachusetts. I became accustomed to driving out to my grandfather's house with my mom to watch the Patriots play. The whole family would gather and They would constantly preach to me how I could really succeed if I use “my God given gifts” (my size) in a positive way. They inspired a love for football in me.For a long period of time where I didn't like being the biggest kid in school but football taught me that these challenges are actually my strengths. I Moved to Florida and committed to working hard at home and school, as well as in Football. My grandmother lived her life to make others happy and i try to follow in her footsteps. She would go out of her way to bring joy to others, I strive to do the same . I do my absolute best to live my life in such
a way that I reflect the happiness she gave to me to others.
I plan to seek out a degree in psychology, so I can help people face and/or work through problems that they might not be able to solve on their own.
Something that separates me from being an average athlete is not just my ability but my effort. For example, my goal at the beginning of 2019 was to lose weight to become stronger, faster and better football player. I have lost over 30 pounds in the course of two and half months, i worked everyday, running, lifting, watching what I eat and drink. I am more confident and I know now that I can accomplish any goal that I dedicate myself to!
