Personal Statement

I'm a motivated student athlete. I have a strong work ethic. I feel the meaning of a well rounded player, is to strive for excellence both in the classroom and on the field. To be successful, you need a strong mind, body and soul. 

Football has been my life's passion since I could hold a ball. I started understanding the value of not just hard work, but  teamwork at the age of 7. It is not about what position you play, but how well you can play it. I appreciate my accomplishments, but I am never satisfied with them. I can always train a little harder, study the playbook a little more, and listen to my coaches learning a little more from their knowledge and experience.  

I enjoy giving back, I volunteer within my community sharing my time with others. I have volunteered for the past several years with the Ronald McDonald House, my church, and my football team. A true test of character is not what you can get in this life, but what you can give.
