Personal Statement

I would like to attend a college that has a degree in Health and Human Performance. One of my goals is to be a strength and conditioning coach to help improve the performance of athletes. I believe this training for my future profession will benefit me greatly in my football career, as well. I definitely plan to use the knowledge learned in the classroom on the field and in the weight room to improve my performance and those around me on my team.

My goal is to excel in the classroom and on the field with the leadership skills I have learned to date. I will be a part of a winning team by utilizing the clear vision of the goals I've set for myself, the passion I have for the game and winning, and the can-win spirit I bring to my team. I encourage my teammates to finish the game strong, even if things aren't going our way.

I feel that my greatest strength is my dedication to the improvement of my knowledge and skills. This makes me an great candidate for a team that is looking to be the best. This also makes me different from other recruits. Most recruits just want to play the game to get into college and satisfy a parental goal. I want to play the game to improve my knowledge and skills to be the best person I can be, and be a part of a winning team that excels both on and off the field in life. I understand that it takes time, dedication, and a great effort to play a collegiate sport and attend classes. I have every intention of maintaining an above average GPA while playing football.

Education and professional training is the reason for attending college. Playing football is my personal choice to round out the goals and  vision I have set for myself. These skills combined set a solid path for my future.
