Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Joe Norris, I am a 2023 graduate with a specific vision of my future, my vision is to continue my passion for lacrosse and bring it to the next level. I am an athlete that is dedicated not only athletically but academically to make my vision a reality. I dedicate my self in the class room and on the field. I have fallen in love with this game ever since I first picked up a stick, which was in about 3rd grade and that's where my journey started, my first pass, my first tryout, my first hat trick, my first varsity game. Yet, through out my journey I have stepped on to the field with a desire to win, within that I am dedicated to work as hard as I can and do my job on the field. I try my best to surpass the person next to me, competition or not, I just have a desire to do my best as whatever I'm doing. I believe that if you're going to do something, don't just complete it, do the job to the fullest, I believe that on and off the field. I would like to think as myself as a leader of the team. Trying my hardest to bring people up whenever they are not, encouraging everyone to give their all, encouraging to win and build the best versions of our selves. I believe a leader is a person that will take people as far as they want to go, and I strive to be that leader.
