Personal Statement

I am a 5'10 defensive end, and linebacker from Camden, NJ but moved to North Port, FL a few years ago. I have been playing football since i was 8 years old and I've played many positions throughout my career such as Tight end, Fullback, Running back, Defensive end, Outside linebacker, and Middle linebacker. I've been selected as an all-star from my coaches and peers 6 times within my 8 year career and 4 times I was selected as the defensive player of the year award. Recently I have hit a huge milestone in my career, I had made the varsity team as a freshman, was in the rotation an made some plays my sophomore year, transferred to North Port High School due to personal reasons but I managed to earn a starting spot, then be later told that I was runner up for team M.V.P. an defensive player of the year in my junior year, then finally being named defensive player of the year an again runner up for team M.V.P. in my senior year. I have a 2.7 weighted  GPA but looking forward to the next few months to raise that to a 3.0. I am looking for a college that can support my degree in physical therapy, an sports management as well as my playing time on the field I would like to attend a university that has a high graduation rate in the field of physical therapy, an sports management. My most ideal university's would be a D2 school with the acceptation of some D3, an NAIA schools to brighten my horizon to find the right fit for me.
