Personal Statement

My name is Micah D. Wilkerson (4.16 GPA). 2021 All-Conference 2A NC Offensive Player of the Year.  I attend South Granville High School in Creedmoor, NC, where I am a Senior, entering my 4th year as a starting Running Back (#33) for the Varsity football team.  Career Stats: 4,500 AP Yards, 3,687 Rushing Yards,  Avg 121.6 Yds/game, Avg 99.6 Rushing Yds/game, Avg 7.4 Yds/carry, 41 TDs, Game High 278 Rushing Yds.   I completed the past two seasons documented as the #1 NC Division 2A Stat Leader for the Most Rushing Yards with a 2019 total 1,709 Rushing yards and 2,057 All Purpose yards averaging 122.1 Rushing/146.9 AP yards per game.  For my 2019 performance, I was awarded 1st Team All-Conference, Offensive MVP, and the S.G. Golden Helmet award.  Currently, for the 2021 Spring football season, I am again the #1 NC Division 2A Stat Leader for the most Rushing Yards and also the Most Touchdowns, with a 7 game season earning me the following 2021 stats: 1,231 Rushing Yards 1,424 Total AP Yards 16 TDs 153.9 Avg Rushing Yds/game.  Our team completed an undefeated 2019 conference season for the 3rd year back to back winning the title of Northern Carolina 2A Conference Season Champions.  My career goals include completing a four-year (Bachelor) degree while playing college football within a great college football program.  It would be an honor to continue playing this great game at the next level.  You will find that my academics, work ethics, dedication, determination, drive, integrity, and talent will be a great asset to your team.  With my hard work, academics, and highlighted achievements from my High School football career, I hope to align my fullest college recruiting potential.
