Personal Statement

Since I was 5 years old I have been involved in some sort of sport or activity, I tried baseball, soccer, basketball,  when I was old enough to sign for flag football I did, and I fell in love with the sport, I remember my next goal would be to play tackle football, that was what I dreamed about every night until I was able to try out for my city football team, I made it to the team at the age of 8 years old and from that moment until present  I have never stopped. 

I think it is an amazing sport, I have a passion for it, the strength both mentally and physically that this sport requires goes beyond anything that I have experienced before.  It teaches me sportsmanship, discipline, and commitment. it requires another level of conditioning and preparation, it gives me a rush that I do not experience anywhere else. It teaches me that I can be defeated today but I will always have another chance to come back stronger tomorrow and train harder.

It is my goal  to continue playing  this sport as long as I can especially during my college years.
