Personal Statement

After I graduate Cy-Fair high school, I look forward to going college to pursue a degree in Pre- Med. I am interested in the Medical field and my desire is to learn more about Anesthesiology.   I will dedicate all of my time to earning a degree and playing football at the collegiate level. 

I believe I am a good candidate for a football team because as an athlete, I focus highly on being coachable, I focus on keeping an open mind about changes and I am excited about new experiences and learning something new.  I have a strong desire to succeed and I am very passionate about football and that’s what drives me to continue to work hard and to put in the extra work to remain competitive.  Given the opportunity, I will utilize all these attributes along with other skills and abilities to perform at my best and add to the team’s success. 

I recognize it is important and that’s why I handle myself in the classroom the same way I handle myself on the field. I have the mindset to continuously work hard to do better so that I can continuously advance in both areas.  As a young man, I know I have to display good character and make good decisions at all times.  What differentiates me from others is my conscientious character to be a great person, my strong academic efforts, and the desire to continuously be the best athletically and academically.  I am humble, appreciative and thankful for all the opportunities thus far and I will continue to show that through my efforts academically and athletically.
