Personal Statement
In football, I feel that once you learn it, it becomes a habit deeply implanted in your spirit. I started playing football since I was four years old, and this is deep down in my heart and soul. Football is in my blood, and my motivation to be a successful person in this sport has given me the hustle to work hard and grind on my high school football team. I understand that an investment in learning pays the best interest. I will continue to stand out in my academics by maintaining a 3.5 GPA and holding on to a sense of integrity alongside it.
I recognize that discipline and commitment are some of the skills that are needed to work on a team as well as showing leadership skills whenever possible by being an all-around student on and off the field. As a member of the National Beta Club and National Society of high school scholars, I also participate in clubs and community service, which ensures that I exercise strong leadership skills. I am coachable and have an excellent attitude for constructive criticism since given the fact of me being an active learner and active listener. I love and enjoy volunteering, which has made me participate in many community service projects. This has earned me a great amount of respect.
I obtained the nickname of “Beastmode” from one of my former coaches who noticed a different side of me once I step on the football field. I get very competitive and aggressive once I go into "Beastmode" and its hard to slow me down. I have unique skills of being able to notice and find gaps and attack full force to stop the running game, which makes me a good recruit. My super quick reflexes set me apart from others and I am very patient with my feet and very observant of the field.
Dedication and confidence have made my collegiate goals and aspirations very persistent in getting new experiences and expert training, which may lead to the next level of Football one day.
