Personal Statement

I consider myself a fast learner and very hard-working person. I use these attributes to excel in the classroom and at everything I undertake. This is very evident in the development of my football career. I have played several sports including: football, basketball, and track but football has always been my favorite. In Middle School, I tried track for the first time, and accomplished several achievements; I helped break the school’s 4x100 record, and I set long jump record with a length of 20 feet. 

My Freshman football season, I was selected as Scout Team MVP.  My sophomore and junior seasons, I was the starting running back, cornerback, and kick returner for the varsity team. I was selected as the WPIAL 6A First Team All-Conference running back and as a WPIAL 5A Honorable Mention All-Conference running back.

I love football because it is challenging and allows me to part of a team that must work together to achieve a unified goal. I am extremely competitive and strive to succeed. I am a team player and willing to do whatever it takes for the team to succeed. This is exhibited in my willingness to play multiple positions for my team.
