Personal Statement
I have always loved football-ever since I started playing flag in first grade. I told my parents when I was 7 years old that I wanted to play in college. As a junior in high school, I have the same goal. I love playing a team sport- everyone on the team has a role to accomplish one goal: winning the game. Every teammate must do his job or the play can fail. I strive to play every play like it could be my last because you never know how long you will get to play the game. I give maximum effort on the field for games and practices, and in the weight room both on and off season. I also prepare by watching film. I lead by example. I believe I have the size, strength and athletic ability to play in college at a high level, and I will continue to improve my last year of high school. Not only do I give maximum effort in football, I also give it in the classroom. I have a 3.87 GPA in the Advanced program at my high school.
