Personal Statement

My name is Andrew Thompson, I am 17 Years old currently attending Centennial High School in Bakersfield, California.  I want to go to college not only for sports but to further my education.  Currently, I am getting around a 3.3 GPA and my grades usually never slip but if they do I bring them back up.  So you don't have to worry about me being ineligible.  I have a great passion for sports.  I currently play football and basketball at Centennial. I am willing to go out of state even to the east coast to play sports and get an education.  I am extremely hard working and always trying to improve my skills.  I can be a leader and step up to fill a role when needed.  I learn plays and positions very quickly.  I try to get along with everyone.  I love to run a fast pace offense in any sport, but occasionally when it needs to be slowed down I'm okay with that too.  For Football I use my speed and technique to play multiple positions on the offensive line. I may be small but I love to fight in the trenches and get scrappy. I’m well conditioned for a no huddle offense and that’s were I excel at the most.
