Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Andrew Vazquez, i am from Houston, Texas and in the class of 2021. My primary position is Middle linebacker but i also have experience on offense and Wide Reciever and Running Back. I go to school at Splendora Highschool located in Splendora. I first started playing football during 7th grade but this was my first time ever playing and i learned a lot of valuable skills that not just help me in football, but also in life. I am currently a sophomore at Splendora Highschool with a GPA Of 3.5. I have learned the benefit of hard work through my mother who had to raise me all by herself and did everything posible to keep us living comfortably. I’ve been faced with many challenges all of which have made me mentally tougher, perseverante, and to never quit. Everyday I go by the word GRIND, G is for Guts because you need guts to face your fears, R is for Reluctant because i am reluctant to lose , I is for Integrity, doing the right thing while no one is watching, N is for Never quit because you always have a chance to turn things around, D is for dominate because i don’t train to compete, i train to Dominate.
