Personal Statement

    Dear Prospective Coach: My name is Trent Phillips. I am a 6'1", 230 pound, 4.0 student athlete from Ocoee, Florida. I play H-back and slot receiver on offense and defensive end. I have played Varsity since my freshman year, and have been a starter and Team Captain all of my sophomore and junior years. In 2015, the newspaper recognized me as athlete of the week. In 2017, I was awarded MVP of my team. In 2018, I received Second Team All State for H-back. In 2018, I also attended FBU where I received an invitation to Top Gun in South Carolina. Also in 2018, our team played in the state championship game for the first time in our school's history. On February 23, 2019, I attended The Opening Combine here in Orlando where I was invited back for Regionals the next day for 7-7 and one on ones.

    My greatest attributes are my determined work ethic, overall strength, and desire to win. I strongly believe that I will not be outworked on and off the field. My faith in God and the support of my family have shaped me into the young man I am today. I am confident that I will be an asset to a college team in the fall of 2020.
