Personal Statement

I am the 6’2”, 190 pound athletic Dual Style Quarterback from St. Charles, Mo. This will be my third year starting for the Francis Howell Central High School varsity football team. Football is a sport I have a love for and I hope to one day have an opportunity to compete at a collegiate level.  I am a leader among my peers; I am fast and versatile, able to play multiple positions well. I currently play both sides of the ball at QB, DB and Special Teams. As a QB, I strive to be a leader for our football team. My goal is to better myself everyday both on the field and in the classroom. Academics always come first for me; doing well in the classroom is my number one objective. The biggest goal of mine for the future is to receive a scholarship to play football at the college level.  Other sports I play are baseball, basketball and track and field. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a science major that will position me well for medical school. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college football career, I will always strive to be an asset to the team on field. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
