Personal Statement

My name is Keith J. Henderson Jr. and I am currently a Senior at Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, PA.   I live and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.   

Football has always been my passion and I have been around the game since a young age. 

I believe I am a great candidate to play the game at the next level.   I am a dedicated student athlete and understand the importance of making academics priority while finding a perfect balance with football.  I have a great work ethic and  I am a hard worker.  I am coachable and value my coaches and their decisions, always listening to direction.  I consider myself an aggressive defensive player on the field who is self motivated, driven, and focused.  I was always taught that the harder I work at anything, the harder it is to fail.  

I previously attended Roman Catholic High School where I started on the Freshman team in 2017 as well as started on the JV and Varsity team in 2018.   February 2018, I transferred to my current school.   I play most effective on defense.  My current position is Middle Linebacker.  I was selected as Bishop McDevitt Defensive player of the Year 2019 and awarded Second Team All Catholic.  

I am currenly playing in my Senior season.  I continue to work hard and look forward to playing at the next level.
