Personal Statement

My name is Kylah Morrison. I am a Christian, I am hardworking, and I am a rule follower. I am well liked and respected by my teammates. I am a leader and softball is my passion. I am working hard to play at the next level.

I will be a senior at Lakewood High School in Hebron Ohio. I am the starting varsity third baseman, a leader, and a power hitter for my schools softball program. Our program took a hard loss in the divison 2  state championship game this year.  We lost 4-2 to Johnathan Alder.  Our team was out hit 11-3, i had a hit, scored a run and hit a hard grounder causing their SS to error which gave us our 2nd run.  It was a tough loss and very difficult for me to handle but it was also a good learning experience. 

I am on The USSSA Pride Elite Select Black (formally Teal) travel ball team.  I am the starting third baseman and usually hit in the 3,4 or5 hole.  Softball is my passion, I can't imagine life without this sport in my life.

I am excited about enrolling in college but I am wanting  to study sports business management.  I am a hard worker and always work to get A's and B's in school. I do not test well but I make up for it in studying and effort.  My teachers would most likley tell you that they enjoy me in class, I work hard and that I enjoy learning. 

I want to find a college where I can learn, grow and be supported. I am very excited about all the possibilities in front of me.
