Personal Statement
My name is Charles Frank Ruege Jr. and I have been playing Football since the fourth grade, Wrestling since kindergarten, and throwing for Track and Field since my Freshmen year. I am naturally a very competitive person which has helped me to achieve my dreams of being a great athlete and hopefully be able to move to the Collegiate level. I am a hard worker with a good attitude towards it and I am committed to improvement. I have always been told I was a good athlete, but coming from a small town I knew I would have to get better, so I have been going to the Lakeland College football camp from 5th-8th grade and the Whitewater Linemen Camp from my Freshmen year to my Senior year. I feel I have developed great technique and am developing natural strength by committing myself to lifting weights regularly. Though I am quite humble for coming from a small school, it has helped me develop at a large magnitude of positions on both sides of the line. I feel I can be a great fit for any team looking for a player willing to play on either side of the line of scrimmage.
