Personal Statement

My name is Farrell Henderson III I am a junior and attend Cathedral high school I also play varsity football. as a kid I grew up playing many sports including Football,basketball,tennis, and running track during this time I enjoyed them all but as I got older I found a passion and love for football. Through middle school I attended a public school but going into High school me and my parents decided to switch to private to better my education being at Cathedral has advanced my education and changed me as a person, but also opened up new opportunities I’d thought I’d never have. On the field I have learned the importance of brotherhood  and trust personally I love having and creating a relationship with my coaches and teammates, trainers and anyone who is apart of the program. This inspires me to play even harder for them because I know they have my back and I have there’s on and off the field because at the end of the day there’s a life after football and those relationships can last forever. I play inside linebacker playing this position has also emphasized the trust I need to have in my teammates and coaches my role is receiving and calling plays and blitz’s and recognizing formations to communicate with my teammates. This trust I’ve talked about is key to my own and my teams success on the field I believe I am a hardworking and dedicated player who is willing to play and represent any program who is willing to bring me in.
