Personal Statement
I am a three sport athlete and a three year letterman - currently a Junior at a Texas 6A Division I high school. I play Wide Receiver and Quarterback. I was awarded the "Athlete of the Year" award - for both 7th and 8th grade years - which was a huge goal and honor for me! My older brother, father, and grandfather had all won this award so I knew I had to prove to myself that I could also! I lettered my Sophomore year playing defense at Corner Back. I then lead our 7/7 Club Team to the State Championship game in College Station playing Quarter Back. I am currently playing Wide Receiver and currently lead the district in catches. When I say I am an athlete - I was the Point Guard for the Freshman and JV basketball team last two years and lead the Freshman team to a District Championship! I also ran all of the relays on the track team and my times are already competitive with some college times. I am dedicated to every sport I play and consider myself a team player but I can put the team on my shoulders, if need be, to try to make a difference. I have been told by coaches that I am a "playmaker." Playing sports is what I love and everything that goes along with it makes me who I am -- a leader!
