Personal Statement

My name is Jadon Ewing. I'm a 5'6 145 lb football player from Cassville, Missouri. I was first introduced to football when I was 5 years old. I played flag football for the YMCA until I was old enough to play tackle football, also called Mighty Mites. I started Mighty Mites when I was in 3rd grade to 6th grade. Through those 4 years I played running back and safety. I then started Middle School football my 7th grade year in the 2017-2018 season. I played 6 games as a starting running back, safety and then got moved to inside linebacker and started 3 games at that position. I led our team with the most tackles and rushing yards. I had 4 sacks, 7 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. During my 8th grade year in the 2018-2019 season I broke my wrist in the first game and played the game with it broken until half time.  I was able to return the following week and continue starting for the remainder of the season.  I started running back, linebacker, and backup kicker. I then got moved to safety and led the team with the most interceptions, interceptions for returns, tackles and rushing touchdowns. I knew since the day I started playing football it would be a big part of my life. Football has taught me a lot in the years Iv'e played. It taught me great work ethic, determination, teamwork, being a leader, and motivates me to be a better person.  I show work ethic and being a leader the most. I love to work hard in practices for the best results in games. I try and push my team to do their best and work hard. I focus hard on work in the classroom as well as being a leader in the classroom.  In high school my goal is to get good grades and have a good GPA. In college I plan to study to become an architect. I always have dreamed to be a collegiate athlete and still do. I plan to be the best student athlete I can be in these upcoming 4 years of high school.
