Personal Statement

As a young child, I've always desired to play football. At the young age of 7 I joined the Matteson Bears football team. I continued to play in High School with the Rich Central Olympians as one of their formidable running backs and linebackers. I have so much respect for the game of football because of the many great talents that have played and I admire. I believe that excellence in football requires and equal, or if not more, excellence in academics. For that matter, I strife to excel in my academics as well as on the field. I believe in teamwork. When a team works together there is nothing that can stand in its way. I look forward to contributing to the best of my athletic and academic abilities to the program that I find  myself with.
