Personal Statement

My name is George Mackey.  I am a rising Senior at Saint Francis High School located in Traverse City MI.  I am a multi-sport scholar athlete.  In addition to athletics, academics are inextricably a key component to my personal development. I currently have a 3.8 GPA 29ACT and regularly take AP courses as part of my curriculum.

I am passionate about the sport of football.  I firmly believe the game of football to be the quintessential team sport instilling many of my core values.  I am a two-way starter, playing Corner Back/Safety on defense and Running back Kick/Punt returner on offense.  I am currently 5' 10’’ weighing over 181lbs. and I run a 4.62sec. 40-yard dash.  I am continuing to get stronger, faster, and smarter in every way.  My training regimen is rigorous and my work ethic steadfast.

I have received several official offers for primarily for Defensive Back/Safety.  I am deeply appreciative of each offer I receive and each offer is considered closely.  With the start of my senior season underway my availability to travel to schools for visits is somewhat limited although I will do my best to arrange a time to visit.  I encourage you to continue to follow myself and my team throughout this 2018 season as we make a run towards a state championship.

Thank you and God Bless
