Personal Statement

My name is Joshua Rollerson-Williams from Conyers, GA and I am interested in playing football on a collegiate level. I play on my high school team and I consider myself a versatile player that is able to make a huge impact on either side of the ball. My main positions are Runningback, and Outside Linebacker. I am quick, fast, strong, and I dedicate time to improve at my position through one-on-one skill training/coaching, strength conditioning, and speed training/conditioning while also running track as a sprinter. Currently my GPA is a 2.71, and I plan on taking the SAT or ACT during the 2021-22 school year. My hobbies and interest is musical performance as I am proficient on 3 instruments and have participated in the jazz and concert band at my schools for 5 years.  I have also participated in track & field for 4 years. I am a sprinter, I do the high-jump, and I throw the javelin. Last but not least, in 2020 I was honored to be accepted into the Conyers/Newton chapter of the Junior Kappa League of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The program harnesses a belief of community involvement, being positive role models in our community, leadership skills, and life development lessons. I am looking for a school that will be a great fit for me, and I for them. I hope to pursue computer engineering or science in college, and I would like to do so while continuing to participate in football. I look forward to meeting with any college coach that believes I would be a good addition to their program in 2023!
