Personal Statement

Going into high school I wasn't really sure if I was going to keep on playing football, it was more of me asking myself if I was ready to play ball in high school. Having the opportunity to work with an actually team who all has one goal in mind was the extra push I needed, I finally felt apart of something special. I learned how to face all different types of scenarios throughout these last three years, Such as, injuries, tough losses, and long grueling games. I learned that I should never be too high or too low and always stick to my principals. I feel that I grew as a player and more importantly as a person. I really felt as if the hard times being on a team really helped me mature into the leader I am.

As a student-athlete I pushed myself to prioritize my student life first as I am sure all coaches preach "GRADES FIRST!", in the classroom I try my upmost best to keep a 3.0GPA or above. Even if the class is hard then I will just make sure I work harder so I can pass it easily.

Finally, I would like to say that I am an easy player to coach I understand football easily, it just comes natural to me. Also, I take constructive criticism very well. Which I think all leaders should be able to do.
