Personal Statement

Ever since I started playing football at nine the physical and technical aspect of offensive line intrigued me. It made me happy to know someone who was generally smaller than most could beat the biggest of guys by knowing and perfecting technique. Being little at the time made me focus more on how to move people then focusing on size and strength. However, as I grew up I became bigger my self and it made me impose my will on others easier using both size and skill. In addition, I do not believe in unathletic football players in general so I tend to focus heavily on making sure my teamates and myself are capable of lasting a full game and more. As a one year jv player i was looked up to by my other sophmore peers and they see me as someone they should attempt to match or as a scale for themselves. In the classroom I am someone who loves to finish work early so I can relax when I am all finish. My mindset is to get it done when it needs to be so idling isnt an issue. I want to explore the engineering field because I dream of creating and building machinery for the future. I am a very hands on person that enjoys participating wether than watching. I lead at all times because I feel everyone can grow with the right people or person around them to help them strive for better whether on the feild, in  the weight room or in the classroom. Lastly, when  I am equipped with a helmet and pads, all limits are off and it is time to get down and dirty. I love to drive my opponents into the dirt and I am very nasty in the trenches. All through my football journey I have been taught to never stop until the ECHO of the whistle and I will do just  that.
