Personal Statement
From the age of 10 in recreation football I was blessed with a great team that laid the foundation for my love of the game. As I grew in my football abilities, I realized to play this sport at the next level I needed to also put forth the work in the classroom as well as on the field.
Not being able to be a part of the varsity team my sophomore year of high school gave me the drive and determination to show everyone I had what it takes to be a team player. As our team made it into the playoffs this past season, my sophomore year, the head coach included me on that roster. I was given the chance to play the entire game, shining. Although we did not advance I knew I had what it takes to be driven and be a part of a great team.
