Personal Statement
I first began playing flag football when I was in kindergarten. Then I started playing tackle football in second grade and have wanted to be the best I can be since then. I know that playing college football would be a great opportunity to do what I love and receive an education that will help me later in life.
On and off the field I am a leader with a great work ethic that works to be the best I can in anything I do. I'm a very coachable athlete that will do anything to help the team. I take pride in taking being the best that I can be and will always work to get there. I am always trying to get better in some way.
It's the same thing with school. I do my best in the class room to get straight A's and have been on honor roll or high honor roll every quarter for the past three years of middle school. I know my parents and school won't let me play if my grades aren't good . I know that nothing in my athletic life is promised, so grades always come first. I am interested in earning a degree in Business when get in college.
My youth club football team won AYF nationals for the past two years (2016 and 2017). I was also selected to play at the 8th Grade AYF All-Star Game at IMG academy in Florida in 2017. I also went to the AAU National Junior Olympics in track in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2016, I came 3rd in long jump and 4th for high jump. In 2017, I came second for long jump and won the National Champion for the high jump. In 2018, I also won the high jump. I am the current National Champion with a jump of 6'5".
In my freshman year of high school I started on the Varsity football team and our team (Nazareth Academy) won the IHSA 7A State Championship.
I want to attend the college that will provide the best opportunities educationally and athletically. I think it's important to find a school that will fit my academic goals and also a school that I will be able to make the biggest impact possible for the football team.
