Personal Statement

My first time playing football was the age of seven years old. My pee-wee, middle, junior and high school’s coaches all stated to me that I was a natural due to my speed and agility. I always wonder about how good I could be at a college level player.

Every day I constantly think of ways to improve my skills that I already have plus adding new ones. I am a coach able player, but when it comes to my teammates. I always try to encourage them to keep working when things do go wrong. In the classroom setting, I always look for ways to stay maintain plus even raise my GPA to the best of my abilities. I am in a TRIO program and I volunteer in local church youth groups.

I would love to attend a college that can help me achieve the career goal that I always wanted for myself and for my family. But mostly, a college that will also push and encourage me to do my best while in class and on the football field as well. I understand this experience is a once in a lifetime thing, but I do know. I am ready and hungry for the challenge.
