Personal Statement

I am rising Sophomore after just completing my Freshman year at JH Rose High School in Greenville, NC.  I have been blessed to have great family and coaches that have supported me academically and athletically.  Athletically, my freshman year was a good year after being a leading rusher for my JV Football Team (which went undefeated) and was pulled up to our Varsity Football Team for our State Playoff Run (where I was able to earn playing time and scored one touchdown during the last run). I also competed in both Winter and Spring Track (1st in my conference, and regional, earned a place in the state track meet. I competed with the fastest time in prelim, and 3rd place in the Finals, for my Freshman year). I also was blessed to earn a place on our Varsity Baseball Team as a freshman. I was the lead off batter, and starting Centerfielder. I am looking forward to not only competing on my school's Varsity Football and Baseball Team this year, as a sophomore, but also continuing to maintain my GPA with the A/B Honor Roll. My plan is to attend a 4 year school to play either Baseball or Football.
