Personal Statement
My goals for my college career are to get a quality education and play football wherever best suits my needs and wants. I am a leader on my current team, I show up early and stay late and attend all workouts outside of our regular practices. I strive to always have at the very least a 3.0 GPA. I am part of the criminal justice program, where I am earning college credits while also taking honors classes, keeping up with football, working, and serving with my church youth group, where I am also a leader. I was honored to be called up to the Varsity team my sophomore year and was able to beat out a senior for his position. I am honest, coach-able and always strive to improve my skills.
Losing my dad to cancer influenced me to strive to be the best I can be on and off the field. It motivated me to take advantage of everything that is offered to me because you never know when you may lose it. I started football when I was 12 years old just for fun. I enjoyed it more than anything else. I've learned a lot through playing football, but most notably I learned that as long as you can trust the people beside you, you can accomplish anything, not just on the field but in life.
