Personal Statement
I am a 6’2” Tight End/Outside Linebacker at Triton Central High School in Fairland, Indiana. Although those are my primary positions, I also can play F/H/LB/OLB. Currently, I weigh 225 pounds and squat 430, and both bench and clean 310?pounds. My junior year, I made 1st team all-conference, 1st team academic all-conference, and both AP and IFCA Jr. all-state. I made AP all-state for defensive line and for the IFCA poll, I made the all-state list as a tight end.
I have a 3.94 GPA and am ranked 10/120 in my class. One rule in my house is that academics come before sports. This year, I am in an honors class and will be taking dual course credit classes my junior and senior years. In addition to football, I play high school basketball. In my three years of high school, I have been involved in FCA, Student Council, Spanish Club and Mentor\Mentee Program, National Honor Society, and I also tutor.
Since I was little, one of my goals is to play competitive college football. I am a very motivated, self-driven person and will be ready to compete for playing time the second I commit to a college. My current goals are to gain more muscle mass while working on my speed and agility in the offseason to prepare me for the next level. I would like to go to a college with a great football culture that is also competitive in their division. I also am looking for teams who have high values and tight relationships among teammates and coaches.
