Personal Statement

My name is Jeremiah Exceus and I am a student athlete with aspirations to build my skills on the collegiate level. I’m currently a junior at Sumner High School making plays both on and off the field. On the field I perform at my best playing cornerback and safety. As a leader on my team, I could best be described as a coachable player willing to learn new techniques and schemes and who is not afraid of competitive challenges. Off the field, I excel in the classroom as an honors student with a 3.9422 GPA. I challenge myself academically through rigorous coursework focused on graduating with honors and getting accepted to a school that aligns with my academic and athletic goals. Outside of sports and school I am a quiet, laid back teenager who enjoys listening to music and playing my PS4.
