Personal Statement
First off I want to talk about how the game of football has impact my life. I started playing in third grade and wanting to run the ball I was too heavy (over 100 lbs) so I played center on offense. At the time I just wanted to play and not knowing what type of player I would become I did what I was suppose to and tried my best. Now looking back those years of being a lineman and even though it was playing against other third and fourth graders it really showed me how much each part of an offense and defense matters on the field. In a game the skill players get looked at the most because of them making the touchdowns and most of the big plays but those guys that don't get recognized is as if not more important than the skilled positions. It taught me to be grateful and humble about how I play the game and see my teammates. Secondly my dad was the person to really push and influence me to play and be a better football player. He grew up in a small town in southeast missouri that was a pretty average at football. After all the stories and lessons about how the game should be played he taught me that no matter the situation i'm in the things that I can control should always be smart and worth it.
