Personal Statement

Since I can remember, I have been assiduous in everything I have done and have remained mentally strong. Coming from a family of 2 sisters and my mother and father, we have faced a lot of adversity in our lives. Almost losing our house, death in the family, and a near divorce was all in my life, but I continued to push my self to overcome these adversities. I work hard everyday and every second, i never settle for less and push myself to be the very best I can be. When times get tough, I get tougher, in any circumstance. I am a very hard working individual that will do whatever it takes to put myself into the next level. I never give up, no matter how hard times get and don't let others around me do the same. I encourage everyone to exceed what they think their limits are. Also, I make sure to remember that I am a student before I am an athlete. I make sure to do well in the classroom before I can excel on the field. I maintain a 3.0 GPA and I have accomplished a good amount in my football career. Since freshman year, I have been a varsity starter, even getting all conference certificate and all city nominations. I am a hard working student and athlete that makes sure that not only I succeed, but others around me do the same.
